The Three Sisters in Concert with Special Guest Kyle Pullan

The Three Sisters (Heather Jean Jordan, Irene Poole, and Ji Won Baxter) bring harmony-rich folk and standout songwriting. Kyle Pullan opens the show with intricate finger-style guitar and a warm acoustic sound. This is an up-close, feel-good show that celebrates the talent in our community.

THE THREE SISTERS

A manifestation of pure joy, The Three Sisters bring together singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Heather Jean Jordan, Irene Poole, and Ji Won Baxter. Like iconic female trios before them, three distinct voices blend into musical alchemy that transcends genre.

Named after Alberta’s iconic mountain range, the trio builds a sound rooted in rich harmonies and inventive instrumentation - piano, violin, ukuleles, and bass - moving through folk, jazz, opera, and original music. Their performances reach breathtaking highs and otherworldly lows, always carrying light through the darkness.

Formed in late 2024, The Three Sisters have played sold-out shows at Canmore artsPlace and appeared at East Coulee Spring Fest and the Canmore Folk Festival. Between them are two albums, Calgary’s 2025 YYC Emerging Artist, and Banff’s Poet Laureate. They’re currently recording their debut album, with a 2026 cross-country tour planned.

KYLE PULLAN

Kyle Pullan is a Canmore local who has been apart of the music community since 2013. Bringing bright melodies and percussion on the acoustic guitar, Kyle has enjoyed bringing the world of instrumental Fingerstyle Guitar to the Bow Valley. Treating his acoustic guitar as a 1 man band Kyle has performed all across Canada and has won the ears of the locals. Kyle has released 4 Instrumental Albums and even won the Banff Battle of The Bands in 2017 as the first solo act to do so and opened up the competition to more solo acts. Kyle strives to introduce the beautiful genre of Fingertyle Guitar to everyone he can.
