We will visit well-known hiking and climbing locations in the Bow Valley where we can find evidence for this long geologic history. The presentation is followed by a Q&A period.

About the Presenter
Dr. Eva Enkelmann is a geology professor at the University of Calgary and researches mountain-building processes and educates the next generation of scientists. She has been studying mountain evolution in the Himalayas, Alaska, and Western Canada for more than 20 years. In her free time she enjoys climbing and hiking in the Rockies and beyond.
