With gritty vocals, witty lyrics and intricate instrumentation, these four Bow Valley boys bring a complex multi-layered sound that mirrors the rugged landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. With a live show that meanders from introspective acoustic songs, to off-the-rails rockabilly, Twonees sounds like Townes Van Zandt wrote songs for Radiohead.

"Twonees' guitar playing is absolutely phenomenal. It's like the guitars are a part of their bodies” (Rocky Mountain Outlook, 2024).

The band is releasing a string of singles preceding the album "The first 40 years of childhood" coming out in late June. The album release show at artsPlace is a one-time event where Twonees will be joined by several Bow Valley musicians on strings and vocals.
