Intro to Air is designed to help riders build confidence with jumps, rollers, and other trail features in a fun, encouraging environment.This clinic is for intermediate mountain bikers who are comfortable riding blue trails (and some blacks), and have a solid foundation in bike handling. It’s a skill-building session with professional instruction and lots of opportunities to practice.Participants will work through fundamental progressions to safely and confidently lift both wheels off the ground. Coaches will break down techniques step by step, focusing on body position, timing, and control. The session includes demonstrations, guided drills, and individual feedback in a supportive learning environment.The lesson takes place outdoors at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, using trails and bike-skills park features designed for progression and practice.What’s includedRegistration includes professional coaching, a mountain bike rental, and a helmet rental.What to bring/prepareParticipants must bring knee pads. Full-face helmets, elbow pads, and bike gloves are strongly recommended. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring water.Accessibility notesThis is a physically demanding outdoor activity involving repeated riding, standing, and maneuvering over uneven terrain.
