Red Moon Herbs is a beloved herbal apothecary based near Asheville, North Carolina, deeply rooted in Appalachian plant wisdom. Est. in 1994, its team crafts small-batch herbal medicines drawing on plants that are grown or wild-harvested in the mountains. Guided by the “Wise Woman Tradition,” Red Moon emphasizes seasonal harvesting and respect for the land. Director Jeannie Dunn is committed to local sourcing, partnering with regional farmers and foragers to maintain a close connection to the Appalachian ecosystem.
