An evening of heartful connection, clarity and truth-sharing inspired by sacred tradition. The day after Summer Solstice 💫🔥🌞✨
Join us around the fire for a circle inspired by a South American practice rooted in Indigenous Amazonian traditions.
Together, we will gather in reverence and respect for the medicines of Mambe—a plant ally made from coca leaf and yarumo ash, traditionally used in ceremonial settings to foster connection, presence, and intentional speech. And, Ambil- a pure *tobacco* paste.
“Ambil is a type of paste created from Amazonian plants that are grown and harvested by indigenous communities. Often called the blood of the tobacco, it is used by various tribes of Colombia and Peru. The process of making the paste involves cooking fresh leaves in fresh water over a wood fire for up to three days until it becomes a paste-like consistency.
This paste is used primarily by ingesting during prayer and meditation and connecting through conversation.” - Spirit Visions
The “sweet word” refers to the ability of combining these two beautiful medicines to help individuals speak with clarity, compassion, and mindfulness. It can also support concentration, relaxation, and clarity of thought—qualities that allow us to speak from the heart and listen with openness.
This circle is a space for shared silence, meaningful words, reflection, and community warmth as we sit with the medicine and the fire. All who come in sincerity and respect are welcome.
What to bring:
• A small offering for the fire (herb, flower, poem, song)
• Warm layers & blanket to sit on
• A cup / water bottle
• natural bug spray
Note: This gathering is offered in deep respect and gratitude to the Indigenous peoples of South America who have carried these traditions for generations. While not a traditional ceremony, this circle honors the spirit of the practice and seeks to hold it with integrity.
