You do NOT need to be an AIFD member to participate! Professionals, students, hobbyists, first-time competitors, and floral enthusiasts are all welcome.

🌿 COMPETITION DIVISIONS
🔹 Beginner — Never entered a floral competition before
🔹 Advanced — Previous competition experience & understanding of AIFD Elements & Principles of Design

🎨 THE CHALLENGE
Create a tabletop floral composition inspired by:
🌺 “Petals of the Past ~ Blooms of the Future” 🌺

Designs must clearly interpret the Swan Island Dahlias theme while showcasing creativity, innovation, and storytelling through flowers.

📏 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
▫️ Max Size: 3’ W × 3’ H × 3’ D
▫️ Pre-build your structure at home
▫️ 60% of the design must feature dahlias
▫️ 50 assorted dahlias plus greens & alternative materials provided onsite
▫️ Bring your own tools
▫️ Sustainable mechanics encouraged
