Marita Hambesis – Founder of Aphra Aesthetics
Marita Hambesis is a dermal therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting clients through a
wide range of skin concerns and skin health journeys.
Her philosophy extends beyond treating the skin on a surface level alone. Through her work, Marita
bridges skin health with mental, emotional, and overall wellbeing, supporting clients to not only feel
confident in their skin, but confident within themselves.
Alongside her advanced skin knowledge and treatment experience, Marita also holds qualifications in
mentoring and emotional wellbeing support, allowing her to approach skin concerns with both clinical
understanding and genuine compassion.
About Aphra Aesthetics
Aphra Aesthetics is a Skin & Wellness Clinic located in Weston Creek, Canberra.
Our philosophy is skin first, meaning skin health, barrier function, and long term outcomes are always
prioritised when creating treatment plans and recommendations.
We combine advanced treatment technologies and evidence based skin therapies with a personalised
and supportive approach, helping clients navigate not only skin concerns, but the emotional impacts
that can often accompany them.
