Rooftop Roots & Reggae will be a sunset celebration of rhythm and soul featuring KOPASETIC, launching their new single ‘Touch Your Soul’, and The Reserve Skank of Australia, bringing their signature ska-reggae-rocksteady fire. With DJs Paulius and Rafa Chango spinning roots and reggae beats into the evening, expect deep grooves, golden hour views, and pure rooftop vibes — the first of a new live music series lighting up the Canberra skyline.

? KOPASETIC - ‘Touch Your Soul’ Single Launch
 An indie-roots powerhouse, Kopasetic deliver earthy rhythms and offbeat grooves drawn from a melting pot of rock, reggae, and high-octane roots music. Their sound fuses the edges of these genres into something unmistakably their own — infectious, uplifting, and impossible to stand still to.

Kopasetic’s razor-sharp live jams has seen them booked to share stages alongside Australian roots-reggae icons King Tide and Sub-Tribe, Glastonbury veterans True Vibenation and Gusto Gusto, with festival appearances including Dragon Dreaming and the Kangaroo Valley Reggae Festival. After a year of interstate gigs and festival stages, the band return to their home turf in Ngunnawal/Canberra to launch their latest single ‘Touch Your Soul’ — a groove-driven celebration of connection, resilience and rhythm, featuring fresh brass and synth textures straight from their studio sessions.

? RESERVE SKANK OF AUSTRALIA
Reserve Skank deliver Canberra’s most joyous dose of ska-reggae-rocksteady (under-40s division, naturally). Bringing a new wave of reggae appreciation to this riddim-starved capital, RSA take inspiration from Gregory Isaacs, Peter Tosh, and Eek-A-Mouse to craft uplifting, rootsman rocking riddims. With a dynamic lineup that swells from six to twelve members, expect bold brass, rolling basslines, tight guitar skanks and bombastic vocals — pure roots and rhythm, Canberra-style. Yes I-yah!
