- **Event Description**: As the weather warms up and we have extended daylight, this month Jogalong returns to the early time of 8.00am.

Jogalong is held on the first Sunday of every month in Weston Park. There is a 6 km handicap event for women* and girls, a 3 km event for women* and girls and boys aged 12 years and under, and a 2 km mini-jog for boys and girls aged 12 years and under. All events are run on dirt tracks and bike paths. It starts at 8 am during spring/summer (from October to April) and 9 am during autumn/winter (May to September).

Jogalong is free to members. Non-members are welcome and the entry fee is $5 for adults and $2 for runners aged under 18 years.  Non-members are welcome to try, for free, two of the following Canberra Runners events: Jogalong, Midijog and Minijog, TTS and Sunday Runners.

Jogalong events are all about participation and enjoyment. They are designed to encourage women* and girls to get out and get active by providing a physical challenge in a friendly and social environment. The event has a 40+ year history.

*including non binary and gender diverse people who may normally include themselves in women’s events.
