Appearing Monday March 2nd, 2026: Sanjiiva Da Silva, The Fitter & Turners and Abi Main

Sanjiva De Silva. Long-term fans of Canberra songwriters will remember Sanji and his band, the New Gods of Thunder from a few years back. We’ve missed him while he’s been away - but great news! He is back and better than ever! A few grey hairs only improves what he always delivered with those engaging eyes, the silky voice, the beautiful songs and the outstanding capacity to connect with audiences. He will enchant new and old fans with his gentle, irresistible charm, and is just the kind artist that Local Gold was made for. So don’t miss the chance to be part of welcoming him back.

The Fitter & Turners (Dave & Brad) give thanks to our lucky and privileged past as apprentices of the early 80's. There began a love affair to a place and play ground affectionately known as The Gong. Vast contrasts of a hard Port Kembla Steel works landscape to the soft curves of Dharawal Country, with its beautiful beaches, bays, diverse bushland and escarpment. 

Local college student Abi Main has just released her third single. A blend of soft pop, with a hint of rock, her music is inspired by artists such as Gracie Abrams and Maisie Peters. Abi has been gleefully performing to audiences since a young age and is looking forward to sharing her latest endeavour.
