HALLOWEEN! FRIDAY 31-OCT AND SATURDAY 1-NOV NIGHTS!
The Canberra Miniature Railway is once again hosting a two-night Halloween extravaganza featuring all sorts of spooky decorations and extending into the evening so you can ride trains under our fabulous light display! The events both start at 5:30pm and run until 9:30pm, with a canteen to supply snacks and drinks.
We're located at the southern end of Jerrabomberra Ave in Symonston (near Narrabundah) but the easiest way to find us is to put "Canberra Miniature Railway" into Google Maps and let it navigate you right to our gate.
We have three different tracks and several different trains, and tickets for unlimited train rides can be pre-purchased at
https://trybooking.com/eventlist/cmr (kids 3 under ride for free but must be accompanied by a fare paying passenger). Note that this is a CLOSED EVENT - you have to have a ticket to enter.
Our canteen will be open to purchase yummy hot & cold food & drink so you can relax and enjoy something to eat while watching the trains go past. We've gone cashless so bring your card/device if you want to make any purchases.
ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED (no sandals, thongs, etc).
We are run by a non-profit society staffed entirely by volunteers and are always looking for people to be drivers, guards, station masters and engineers. All training provided. No set obligations. Send expressions of interest to

Why not hold a party on one of the nights? For the ridiculously low price of $50 you get a reserved space in our party area, a BBQ, a table with (limited) seating, and a free unlimited ride ticket with each booking (value $15). Have you looked at the price of party bookings around town? This is the cheapest around!
