This is a great chance to go camping and connect with nature. We will be working in the owner's nursery, planting seeds and plants, and also making seed bombs.What to ExpectActivities will include outdoor camping, erosion control, working in the ranch's tree nursery, and making seed bombs for restoration.The ranch is located in Evans Canyon with riparian and grassland ecosystems.Dinner will be provided on Saturday evening.Beautiful views and scenery, as well as a diverse and welcoming group to work with.The event will be held primarily in Spanish, but there will be at least one English speaker present. So come prepared to practice your Spanish if you are not bilingual.There will be a kitchen and set of dishes.WhereRancho Agua de Enmedio is located approximately 25 km southeast of Cananea, Sonora, in Evans Canyon, along the Cananea-Bacoachi highway. The coordinates of the ranch entrance are: 30.944171, -110.127160 (also marked on this map).WhenWe will meet on Friday, May 1, at 5 p.m. in the Buffalo Casino parking lot and wrap up on Sunday, May 3, at 1 p.m.What to BringCamping gear (tent, sleeping bag, light, etc.)Work clothes for the activities and both cool and warm temperatures (long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes)Personal gloves if you wish (we will also have gloves)Water bottle (we will also bring a container for refilling)Sun protection (cap, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)Any medications you needDinner for Friday, breakfast and lunch to take to the field on Saturday, and breakfast for Sunday.Register on this page to join us at the Rancho Agua de Enmedio event.
