Many Ways to Sparkle: FLX Sparkling Wines by Method

It's finally here! The most sparkling time of the year!

Celebrate the art, history, and effervescence of Finger Lakes sparkling wine at this special Women for WineSense year-end event, led by longtime Finger Lakes wine advocate and educator Sandy Waters. Together we’ll explore the diverse techniques used to craft sparkling wines — from the traditional méthode champenoise to modern innovations shaping the region’s bubbly scene today. Together, we’ll trace the fascinating history of sparkling wine in the Finger Lakes and raise a glass to the incredible winemakers who keep this tradition alive.

Expect an evening that’s fun, engaging, and vibrant — just like Sandy herself! Guests will enjoy a variety of wines that highlight how method, terroir, and craftsmanship combine to create the distinct sparkle that defines Finger Lakes wines. Dress code: There's many ways to make your attire sparkle! Dress casually, or feel free to dress to the nines! We know some of our members will assuredly be wearing their holiday best.
