- **Event Description**: Buckeye Woodturners and Woodworkers has established a working relationship with the veterans organization Serving Area Military (SAM) - We are calling the program "A Vet's Turn".  

The goal of the program is to reach out to veterans and give them an opportunity to experience woodturning and wood carving.  

The SAM Center, in Canal Fulton, will host sessions once per month with BWWT providing equipment and mentors.  The sessions will provide Hands-On experience to veterans at the center.  Veterans can make pens on a Lathe, laser woodburn onto designs, learn about wood and its characteristics, try relief carving, and much more!

Consider joining us on the Third Thursday of the month starting at 3pm and going until 7pm.
