Hello Mortlake,
On Friday the 6th of March 7am-7pm, Mortlake P-12 College will be hosting a Relay for Life.
This is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for Cancer Council's research, prevention and support services. The aim of the game is for teams to keep the baton moving around the oval for the entire 12 hours. If you are not from the school and would like to register, click on the link and join our community team (there is more info about registering/donating on the website).

On the day, we welcome the community to join us walking between 7-9am and 3.30-7pm. You can join us for a Breakfast Roll or afternoon tea or a BBQ dinner. We will have some Relay for Life merch for sale and the opportunity to win one of the amazing prizes our local sponsors have provided in our lucky number competition. All proceeds from these activities will be added to our fundraising total. In addition, all those who formally register will go in the draw to win one of our spot prizes.
Be sure to come with some cash in your pocket and love in your heart. We hope to see you there!
If you are unable to join us on the day but would still like to help out, money can be donated through the link below, and here is how it would make a difference:
$18 can provide 20 easy-to-understand information packs on treatments and practical advice to Australians affected by cancer.
$25 can protect 15 children from potentially harmful sun exposure through our SunSmart school program.
$43 can pay for a cancer nurse to be available on 13 11 20 for an hour to offer expertise and support to those in need.
