This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with people in your local area who understand the unique joys and challenges of caring for someone living with Dementia, Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.Our In-Person Peer Support program is delivered over 8 sessions and is designed as an opportunity for you to make new connections and learn something new. Topics and activities will be chosen by you and the other carers in your group, including yoga, sound meditation, artistic workshops, exercise and presentations from guest speakers, including Advocacy Programs, My Aged Care and Service NSW.Sessions will be held fortnightly at 11am - 1pm on Thursdays starting from 13th November, 2025. Carers are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the most out of the experience. Light refreshments will be provided. Please include any special dietary requirements with your RSVP.Please note: This event is open to residents living in South-Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains regions in NSW, Australia only.
