You’ll learn torn paper collage techniques and composition to create a variety of blooms and foliage, and then design and assemble your own one-of-a-kind bouquet on a canvas with a painted background provided.  Finished examples and collage guides will be available, along with step-by-step instructions and time for questions as they arise, and creativity and experimentation are highly encouraged!  
All skill levels welcome and all supplies are included! This class is perfect for beginners (no experience required!) as well as artists interested in exploring a new medium.  

About your instructor:   Cara Leanne is a mixed-media artist from the Comox Valley known for her bright and cheerful paintings.  She is drawn to bold, vibrant colour because it feels like joy made visible.  She uses hand-painted, hand-torn collage to create whimsical paintings often inspired by gorgeous flowers, peaceful seascapes, or even quirky chickens.
