About the event

ROOTED IN RESILIENCE: A COMMUNITY CONVERSATION
Join us for an evening of learning, sharing, and conversation as we explore First Nations worldviews and the deep, reciprocal connections between people and the land. Together, we’ll talk about what reconciliation can look like in practice through stewardship and land care, and how each of us can play a meaningful role. This is a welcoming, community-focused gathering — bring food to share if you’d like, and come ready to listen, learn, and connect.

Facilitator Alexandra Thomas, FIT

This event is free to attend.

Co-sponsored by the Maritime Heritage Society and the Canadian Institute of Forestry for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
