Time is the universal rhythm: the change of seasons, the composting of the old and the birth of the new. Our past informs our present, and invites us to consciously renew with the unfurling of spring. Come share your rhythm through your dance!

Dancing with wildness, delighting in shadows and light, and deeply honoring everything that you bring, Artemx invites you into a journey woven from threads of soul and a collage of melody that will leave you transformed. Drawing from the music of their ancestral roots in the Middle East, India, Europe, and beyond, and blending with modern electronica and classical ambience alongside a gentle somatically-guided introduction and closing, they are known for curating sets that guide dancers to move in tune with their own, deepest Self.
Global nomad, cultural rebel, social misfit, lover of music and movement, Artemx has been weaving dance journeys since 2018. They are a second generation bodyworker, somatic movement practitioner, relationship coach, and in training as a somatic experiencing practitioner. Their first book, Radical Relating, will be published in September 2025.
Mel is of mixed Roma and Celtic heritage, and is humbled to live, love, study, and share, as a visitor on the traditional territories of the K’òmoks First Nation.
As an immunocompromised dancer, Mel will facilitate masked for their own health and safety, and enthusiastically supports dancers who wish to mask.

Join us to move your body and feel your hearts in an inclusive and sober space at the Willow Point Lions Hall from 7-8:30pm (doors open at 6:45pm).

$20 CASH at the door (sorry, we are NOT able to accept any other forms of payment).

DANCE TEMPLE AGREEMENTS::
In this space we collectively agree to:
*No talking on the dance floor
*No outdoor shoes
*No cellphones
*No instruments
*No photography
*No drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicants
*Shirts must remain on for all genders
Dance Temple Agreements Regarding Children:
Dance Temple Welcomes children.
- Children are welcome on the dance floor area provided that they are accompanied & closely minded by their adult and within arms reach (for example; dancing beside their parent or guardian).
- No speaking on the dance floor
- No toys
- During the opening and closing circles children will remain quiet with their adult so that people speaking in the circle can be heard. If this is not possible, we ask that their adult remove them from the circle
ON BOUNDARIES & TOUCH:
We recognize that touch and physical proximity can mean different things to different people. In this space we practice self-awareness of our own bodies and awareness of the ways in which we engage with the moving bodies of others. We practice respect of the personal space of others. We define consent as freely given, ongoing and an enthusiastic agreement for mutual participation. Understand that you are not obligated whatsoever to engage in any contact with anyone.
WHEN APPROACHING OTHERS:
*Make no assumptions! Look for a clear yes, look for eye contact
*Respect any no (including when someone is ignoring you or moves away from you)
* Respect a Solo Dancer’s right to their space
* Do not engage in physical touch without clear consent
