In true Sylvia fashion, she didn't want anything formal or somber. She wanted, in her own words, "a big effing party"—with people together, good music, stories, laughter, and a proper celebration of her life.

So that's exactly what we're doing.

Sylvia spent her entire life in Campbell River and touched the lives of countless people over the years. Many knew her through School District 72 and Carihi Secondary School, where she spent many years as a secretary. Others knew her through the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 137, as a neighbour, a friend, or simply as "Mom." However you knew Sylvia, we'd love for you to join us in celebrating a life that meant so much to so many.

? 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. – Visit with family and friends, enjoy refreshments, browse the photo displays and albums, and share your memories in the guest book.

? 5:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. – Welcome, short remarks and toast to Sylvia. 

? 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. – Live music and celebration

This is an informal gathering—come as you are. Share stories, raise a glass, have a laugh, reconnect with old friends, and help us give Sylvia exactly the kind of send-off she wanted.
