This year's festival will feature demonstrations by artists and artisans from across the Black Belt region of Alabama, kids art activities, "make and take" activities and more. This event is held in conjunction with the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Mark Curl Memorial BBQ Cook Off in historic downtown Camden. Throughout the day, demonstrations will be given by several of BBTCAC's artists including: Jo Taylor (pottery - Dallas County), Doris Mosely (quilting - Wilcox County), Donna Britt (fiber arts - Dallas County), Andrew McCall (folk art - Lowndes County), Andrea Windham Guy (Painting - Conecuh County). In addition to the artist's demonstrations, BBTCAC will have a "Hands On" area where kids of ALL AGES can create crafts and pig themed art (clay, painting, printmaking, jewelry, sewing) and play a variety of outside games and activities. Our very own "Pablo PIGasso" (along with Mrs. PIGasso) will also be on hand throughout the day to entertain and take photos with guests! Activities and demonstrations by artists will begin at 9:30 am and continue until 1:30 pm at BBTCAC located at 209 Claiborne Street in historic downtown Camden. A limited number of T-Shirts will also be available during the event. Hog Wild for Art is made possible through generous contributions from Ala-Tom RC&D and members of the Black Belt Treasures Guild.
