- **Event Description**: Did you know that Ohio is home to over 2,000 species of wild mushrooms? Mid-April through May is prime mushroom time in Ohio depending on where you live. Several species are edible and a delicious meal if properly prepared.

Instructors will focus on Ohio’s most sought-after edible mushroom, the morel. Learn the basics of how to identify them, where to find them, and laws on collecting. The class is free, but registration is required, and space is limited. There will be an outdoor portion of the class. Please dress accordingly.

Attendees should meet at Woodland Trails Wildlife Area 265 Gasper Somers Rd. Camden, OH 45311 Sunday, April 26, 2026, 12 pm – 2:30 pm
