Workshop Choreography Creation

If you’ve ever wanted to create your own pole or aerial choreography but didn’t know where to start — or you’re looking for fresh inspiration — this workshop is for you!

Together, we’ll explore how to turn ideas and movements into beautiful, flowing routines. The first part of the workshop focuses on creative theory, where you’ll use printable worksheets filled with tips, examples, and guidance to help you plan your choreography step by step. The best part? You’ll get to keep these worksheets forever and use them anytime you want to create something new.

The second half is all about movement and practice — we’ll warm up, play with entries, exits, transitions, and direction changes, and finish with a cool-down and relaxed Q&A.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Come as you are — learn, create, and have fun discovering your own movement style!

‼Please bring pole wear (comfortable shorts and a t-shirt, tank top, or sports bra), as well as one pen and one highlighter for the worksheet activities.

‼The workshop will take place on November 20th from 8:20 to 9:30 PM at ARU Coslett Dance Studio. 5£ ticket

Please book your space in advance and bring cash on the day. We’d really appreciate it if you could bring the correct amount and have it ready in advance.
