We’ll hear many of Tallis’s most popular works, including the heartfelt first set of Lamentations, ascetic English anthems like Hear the voice and prayer, and the hedonistic luxury of Loquebantur variis linguis and the Missa Puer natus est nobis.DAVID SKINNER is Fellow and Osborn Director of Music at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. He is co-founder of The Cardinall’s Musick and artistic director of the early music group Alamire. His particular specialism is music and the Reformation in England.
