From devastating disasters and notorious murders to lingering legends of hauntings, this guided walk explores the city’s shadowy side.The walking tours leave the Cottage promptly at 6:30 and 7:00 PM and run for approximately 90 minutes (ending back at the Cottage). Dogs are not permitted inside the Cottage.New this year ! The 7:00 PM walk (only) is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged companion along! Please note that owners are responsible for the care and control of their dogs at all times. Any aggressive or overly disruptive behaviour may result in being asked to leave the tour. Dogs are not permited inside the Cottage.The tours may include hills, stairs and uneven terrain.Phones are recommended, but not required, to access additional information on the sites we’ll be visiting. No washroom facilities available during the walk.Cost: $24.95 + HST. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are also available for in-person purchase during McDougall Cottage’s hours of operation.Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so register early!Museum members receive a 10% discount by using "Memcode".Museum Volunteers receive a 10% discount by using "Volcode".
