The Cambridge Lions Club are excited to announce the 5th edition of the Battenkill Kid’s Ride (formerly known as the Kid’s Tour of Battenkill) to this year’s return of the Battenkill to the Village of Cambridge. 

On Saturday May 9th, 2026, be a part of the Battenkill bike race and have fun competing and racing on the same course as professional riders from around the United States. The Battenkill Kid’s Ride is for participants grades Pre-K to 5gh, registration will begin at 8am on the morning of May 9th in front of the Depot at the finish line. Races to begin promptly at 8:30am. 

There will be three classes of racing: Single Gear, Multi Gear and the most electrifying sprint of the day, the Tike and Trikes Sprint. 

All participants will receive a medal for participation and a commemorative Battenkill Kid’s Ride T-shirt. 

From 2011 through 2013 the Kid’s Tour of the Battenkill race was very successful, averaging over 80 participants annually, we hope to continue the success of this event that showcases our beautiful community and people.
