E te iwi, we invite you to join us in person to discuss Te Kāhu o Apakura at Rangiaowhia.

Te Kāhu o Apakura is being built for and by Ngāti Apakura. These  hui are an opportunity to learn more about our reconciliation framework and, most importantly, for you to share your feedback and aspirations for our iwi.

It draws together our history, the restoration of our culture, and our economic future. It is about restoring our mana and reconnecting Ngāti Apakura to our ancestral homelands.

We will start the day off with a bus ride to Te Awamutu where Te Ao Apaapa from Taiea te Taiao will be giving us a bit of a hītori kōrero of the rohe. 

There is nothing quite like standing together on the whenua and sharing pūrakau. We can’t wait to see you all in person to continue this journey of reconciliation and restoration.
