Seed Starting Workshop

It might be cold and icy now, but spring is just around the corner!

Join Blackwater Rising for a free cold weather seed starting workshop on March 7 from 10am-noon at the New Beginnings Learning Academy on Greenwood Avenue.

Emily Zobel, Senior Extension Agent with the University of Maryland, will show you how to get great garden results by starting your own seeds.

We will provide everything you need, including soil, seeds, and containers, but feel free to bring your own seeds if you have something you'd like to get started. See you there!
