All levels welcome! Materials will be provided with the $15 ticket cost.About AmandaAmanda Pickler (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist currently living in Boston. Shereceived her M.F.A from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts through Tufts University.She is originally from Seattle, WA where she received her BA with Honors from theUniversity of Washington. Pickler’s research and studio practice currently focuses oncelebrating queer intimacy within the public spaces of queer nightlife andthe private domesticity within her community. Her figurative oil paintings push theboundaries of color, challenging notions of who gets to be vibrant, bold, and luxuriousand what it means to see and be seen. Pickler’s work has been exhibited in a variety ofshows across the country. Her dedication to the arts transcends beyond her studiopractice and is enmeshed in her community through teaching, activism, and her ongoingmentorship to young artists.
