New Year's Eve: Candlelit Meditation

Welcome the new year with peace, clarity, and an open heart. Join us for an evening of candlelight, reflection, and meditation and take the time to pause and set a sincere intention for the year ahead.

Guided by Gen Khedrub, we’ll explore Buddha’s teachings on compassion and inner peace, learning practical ways to bring more empathy, presence, and joy into daily life. Together, we’ll share guided meditation and prayers to Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, in a warm and peaceful setting.

Begin the new year feeling grounded, inspired, and connected.

Everyone is welcome. No previous experience needed.

Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available.

Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone.
