What Is Mini STEM Quest Camp?

What’s better than exploring science? Exploring science through hands-on quests, magical experiments, and creative engineering challenges! Mini STEM Quest Camp is where young adventurers begin their journey into STEM through playful, story-driven learning.

Over the course of one exciting week, campers complete daily themed “STEM Quests” involving building, experimenting, tinkering, and teamwork. From colorful chemical reactions to simple machines and mini engineering challenges, each day is designed to spark curiosity and confidence.

Camp Highlights
Hands-On STEM Experiments

Campers become little scientists as they explore science that feels like magic:

  • Safe, colorful reactions that bubble, foam, and fizz
  • Simple physics activities that show force, motion, and energy
  • Mini “lab stations” where they observe, test, and discover

Creative Engineering Challenges

Young makers tackle beginner-friendly engineering builds:

  • Design ramps, towers, bridges, and mini catapults
  • Experiment with simple machines like levers and pulleys
  • Test and improve their creations just like real engineers

Story-Driven STEM Adventures

Every day starts with a new Quest from the “Guild Hall Quest Masters”:

  • Build a structure that can rescue tiny characters from “floodwaters”
  • Design a delivery system to move objects across a chasm
  • Create chain reactions and contraptions to solve playful problems

Testing, Tinkering & Discovery

Campers are encouraged to try, test, and tinker — learning that mistakes are part of the process. They develop early scientific and engineering habits as they ask questions, make predictions, and see what happens.

Why Families Love This Camp

Expert early-childhood STEM instructors who know how to make big ideas simple, safe, and fun.

Fully hands-on curriculum with minimal sit-and-listen time — kids are building, mixing, and experimenting all day.

Confidence-building environment where curiosity is celebrated and every question matters.

Perfect on-ramp to future robotics, engineering, and coding camps at Guild Hall.
