A pianist about to flee from a duel receives a letter from a woman he cannot remember, who may hold the key to his downfall.The screening will be preceeded by short introduction, putting it in context and highlighting the interesting ways in which it portrays memory. These screenings are part of the interdisciplinary research project 'When Memories Come Alive'. The film will be followed up by a drinks reception.The screenings will be introduced by Dr Joseph Bitney and Prof Raphael Lyne.
