We are delighted to welcome Daniela Rossi to The Mumford Theatre for this seasons lunchtime concerts. 

Daniela Rossi is an exciting classical guitarist from Argentina.  She studied guitar with Eduardo González Velasco at the Conservatory of Bahía Blanca, her hometown, where she graduated in 2006. Since then she has studied with many leading guitarists and teachers worldwide, including Eduardo Isaac, Victor Villadangos, Graham Devine and others.

Daniela has won numerous performance awards and prizes across South America and  Europe, including First Prize in the London International Guitar Competition (2015), Second Prize in the Heinsberg Guitar Competition and Festival in Germany (2017), and First Prize in the prestigious XXXVI Luis Sigall International Music Competition held in Viña del Mar, Chile (2009).

Daniela combines her performing career with an equally successful teaching career.  She works with players of all ages and all levels, helping them to extend their musicality and technical competence.  She is particularly keen on inspiring and working with young players.
