Profits go to the Arthur Rank HospiceAbout this EventCome and join us to celebrate the end of the cold swimming season at the beautiful 100 yard Jesus Green Lido in central Cambridge. We are Britain's joint longest outdoor pool, located on picturesque Jesus Green on the south bank of the River Cam.Challenge yourself to a length, or even two in individual races or bring a team of four for relay races. You can race with or without wetsuits. There will be prizes for different categories, a relay for over 60s, and for you creative swimmers, fancy dress relay races with a prize for best costume.Free use of the sauna is included.The lido cafe wil be open for those vital hot drinks and some breakfast options to fuel the morning. There will also be local pizza from Scott's on Mill Road.The event will end with a brief chilly synchronised swimming routine from the almost famous lido Centenary Cygnets.Profits from this event will go towards the Arthur Rank Hospice that provides such great care for people in our area.
