We’re delighted to welcome Natasha Brown, author of the multi-prizewinning novel Assembly (2021) and the Booker-longlisted Universality (2025), in her role as Chair of the International Booker Prize jury; and Professor Duncan Large, Academic Director of the British Centre for Literary Translation, for an evening of word theatre and discussion on the topic of travelling through translation. Music will be provided by the Inter Alios choir, conducted by Dr Ewan Campbell, interspersed with performed readings of literature in translation, all reflecting the theme of travel in its broadest sense and providing a context for a discussion between Professor Duncan Large and Natasha Brown on travelling through translation.
