This 6-week class is made for you to have a joyous, low-key escape for 2 hours a week. Taught by a warm, welcoming instructor with years of expertise (who themself has quite a bit of anxiety!), you'll come play silly games and build confidence in yourself and your ideas - all while getting to know a small group of like-minded classmates. And it has nothing to do with getting you on stage in front of people - it's about how improv can serve YOU!In this class you'll be guided through fun games, simple exercises, and conversations designed to be totally approachable. Each week you'll get to know your classmates better, and slowly build your confidence in finding and expressing what you bring to the table. You don't have to be funny, you don't have to be a public speaker, you CAN be nervous - you just have to be yourself. You'll learn the basics of improv, while seeing how improv can simply be a way to explore what you love and connect you with friends. Steve Carrell once shook Sam's hand and told them that they did a great job hosting a show, so that was pretty cool.Sam loves creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment, where every student can feel comfortable.
