Heart of Noise Cambridge is a bi-monthly event series for live leftfield electronic music in Cambridge Junction. It aims to promote this and related genres, as well as local, national and international acts in this field, both solo and in collaboration. It presents varied and immersive performances: from abrasive energy to celestial beauty.
Join us on 12 November for Heart of Noise Cambridge 13 as part of Cambridge Jazz Festival!
This special edition features, as a headliner, prolific percussionist and free jazz improviser Eddie Prévost, joined by double bassist Jordan Muscatello who has been active in various scenes including free improvisation in London.
The exciting bill also includes American composer and tenor saxophonist Kevin Flanagan, a longstanding figure in the international jazz scene. Flanagan will be joined Lisbon-
based musician and sound designer André Nascimento.
Also on the bill is the fresh contemporary ambient collaboration of UK-based Turkish artists Philamelian (piano) and Elif Yalvaç (electronics).
