We have firmed up our plans for a fantastic “county wide” high school career festival this spring (Thursday, April 23 – Rain Date-Friday, April 24), which will be hosted by The Dorchester Career & Technology Center in a huge, outdoor event for all three schools: North Dorchester High School, Cambridge South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center. The theme to generate excitement is: DCPS CRUISIN’ INTO CAREERS 2026. Attached is the flyer, and YES, it is an “all day” event and we hope that you and your business/organization can attend. If you can have representatives with us all day, that would be fantastic, but we also know that this could be a challenge so we are breaking up the day into two “waves”, morning from 8-11 a.m. and afternoon from 11:45-2:00 p.m., with complimentary lunch provided in between by DCTC’S Culinary Program and Chef Zinnel. Our stellar “crew members” will be assigned to your area to provide security during lunch.
As with all cruises, we have a big crew in place to organize one of the very best events on The Eastern Shore, with people already planning on attending as far north as Maine! We are very excited about this event as we will be having well over 1000 “passengers” (all high school students in Dorchester County) coming to cruise with us.
We hope you will join in on the experience and fun of offering exposure to your business, organization, and pathway. We encourage all vendors to bring a tent, and consider bringing in equipment and vehicles to give Dorchester County students an authentic introduction and experience!
