In this class, we'll take a deep dive into cured and prepared meats: how they're made, what makes each style distinct, and how to taste them with intention.We'll work our way through a range of charcuterie — a delicate prosciutto, a peppery dry-cured salami, a silky mousse or pâté, maybe something smoked — talking through curing methods, fat content, and the flavors that develop with age and technique. Alongside each one, we'll bring in a cheese chosen to complement or contrast it, and a wine to match, so you can taste in real time how these three elements shift and sharpen each other.To fully participate in the class:1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as charcuterie, a cheese plate and accompaniments for one.2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a quarter. After class, there will be time to shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).3. This event is for 21+.
