All pets must be greater than two pounds, older than eight weeks and easily handled by staff. We microchip on a first come first served basis. No appointment necessary! Please arrive prepared with cats secured in carriers and dogs on a well fitted collar and leash.

Microchips are about the size of a large grain of rice. They are injected via a hollow needle under the skin between the pet's shoulder blades. The area is sterilized and then the microchip is placed. The procedure does not require sedation and takes roughly three minutes.
