- **Event Description**: Plymouth Astronomical Society invites people of all ages to see this Partial Solar Eclipse which is ALMOST but not quite total, so Solar Eclipse Glasses MUST be used. The last time there was an eclipse greater than this one was in 1999!

With the help of #gostargazing who have helped sponsor the cost of the solar eclipse glasses we have some to give away which will allow you to look at the Sun safely. 

The Society will also have telescopes  and filters for people to look through.   
START TIME is 5 PM,

END TIME   20:09. 

There is free car parking ( if a bit bumpy) and there is no charge for the event
