- **Event Description**: Back for our only show this year at the amazing Stannary Brewery but what makes it extra special is that this is to help raise money for the Acoustic Cafe! 

If you don't know much about them then you should know that it is run by a small group of people who raise money for many charity's and have done for many years, holding events in Tavistock.

But due to all the hardcore use with the amazing artists over the years there PA system has finally kicked it!

So this event is to help raise money for new equipment for them to carry on putting on amazing events and creating awesome opportunities for other musicians across Devon and Cornwall.

T.V Smith
founding member, singer and songwriter for the Adverts, who formed in late 1976, and were one of the leading bands in the first wave of British punk rock. In early 1977 they performed regularly at the newly-opened Roxy Club in London, and gained cult success with the Stiff Records single "One Chord Wonders." Their next release, "Gary Gilmore's Eyes" became a top twenty hit record, leading to radio and TV appearances and extensive media interest. A further single, “No Time To Be 21,” also entered the charts, and the band spent the rest of the year playing live, including major tours with The Damned and Iggy Pop. The album that followed in early 1978, "Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts," is still considered a genuine classic of the era and is often cited as one of the twenty best punk albums ever released.
TV performs as an acoustic solo artist all over the world, as well as playing occasional gigs with backup bands. Over the past few years he has supported Stiff Little Fingers, the Damned and Ruts DC on major tours in the UK, and played headline tours throughout UK, Europe, the U.S.A and Japan. In 2025 he embarks on a world tour taking in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Ireland and Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and North America.

The Ragdolls....
Lydia Martin, Oliver Muñoz and Harvey James were all born and raised in South-East Cornwall, and came together based on a collective love of bands like The Strokes, Pixies, and The Cure. After forming The Ragdolls in the early months of 2022, playing indie and alternative rock covers in local pubs and music venues, they now perform original material, and have recently released their second EP 'Nuisance Diary'.

Horce Divorse...
A punk rock band composed of four long time mates who share a passion for music. Hailing from a small town in Devon, their music is heavily influenced by the colourful characters and struggles within it, as well as their own experiences.
