Roughly two years ago I held a Mental Health for Emergency Responders Conference here in Winneshiek County. This was the first of its kind for NE Iowa and I was very proud to have coordinated that effort. I am pleased to announce that I have coordinated two new speakers to come to Winneshiek County on Wednesday April 29th. The venue will be the auditorium inside the NICC Wilder Business Center in Calmar and the timeframe will be from 6 pm to 9 pm.

As before, I would strongly encourage you to bring your significant other with you to this event. We all know our significant others play a huge role in our mental health as emergency responders. The registration QR code is on the flyer. 

Who is an "emergency responder?" This can be anyone who is in fire, law enforcement, 911 dispatching, EMS, EMA, public works, healthcare, military, tow truck drivers, etc. 

The seminar will be capped at 250 people so please register right away. 3.0 hours of EMS credits will be available for those in need.
