- **Event Description**: Hi Callicoon! I will be blending flower essences and offering medical medium readings at a Free Healing Day this Saturday (11/15) from 10-4 at The Callicoon Brewing Company (2nd floor). I will be one of five healers offering our services and talents to our community. 

Flower essences are a branch of homeopathy aimed at achieving emotional balance which often allows the physical body to heal on a deeper level. Flower essences as a healing modality were largely studied and developed by Dr Edmund Bach in the mid 1900’s. He began as a traditional medical doctor and turned to a more holistic approach as he saw how the flower essences promoted true healing in his patients whereas modern medicine was just masking their symptoms. Flower essences are the energetic frequency of individual flowers preserved in a water/brandy blend. I work with a line of 38 flowers that are aimed at alleviating symptoms such as fear and anxiety, grief and depression, and releasing past traumas and experiences that keep a person stuck in fight or flight. 

Medical medium readings are a type of psychic/intuitive reading that are generally supported by my studies in herbalism and nutrition during which an individual can describe physical symptoms or health concerns and I will receive messages to relay about different herbs, supplements, and other healing modalities that may be beneficial. I can often feel into the energetic body and recognize areas of the physical body where trauma is stored and offer recommendations for release to facilitate healing.
