You don’t have to travel to Italy to experience a 14th century Tuscan castle. Castello di Amorosa is the realization of fourth-generation winemaker Dario Sattui’s all-consuming passion to build an authentic castle to honor his Italian heritage and love for medieval architecture. The castle, built over 15 years using historic methods and materials imported from Italy, features a drawbridge, a moat, five towers, defensive ramparts, a chapel, stables, an armory, vaulted wine cellars, and even a torture chamber. We will enjoy a private tour and a seated tasting of six premium wines coupled with unique pairings of cheese, charcuterie, and chocolates. After our castle visit, we will continue to the charming town of Calistoga for free time and lunch on your own.
