Nourishing Her Core, Women’s Urban Retreat- Ayah Buonaugurio & Jenna Anjali

Join Ayah Buonaugurio & Jenna Anjali for a nourishing urban retreat where you will discover practices to optimize female cycles, strengthen your core, regulate hormones, boost body confidence and reduce pain. You will walk away with tools and knowledge empowering You to feel confident in making healthy decisions for your body.

This workshop is for any woman wanting to become informed or that may be dealing with pelvic pain, infertility issues, menopause, painful menstruation or just interested in learning techniques to strengthen and nourish her female organs. You will learn exercises and techniques to access your deep “core” and how to strengthen and relax your pelvic floor. You will discover how to eat and move so that you're in harmony with your female cyclical nature and how diet, exercise, and stress affect your hormones.

We Will Cover:

- Female pelvic floor anatomy & toning exercises
- Yin & Restorative Yoga for female cycles
- Ovarian QiGong/Breathing
- Nourishing Pilates Practice
- Eating to Optimize Your Hormones & Body-type

Cost: $49 Early Registration Before April 3rd /$60 After

Jenna Anjali is certified in Pilates, Yoga and the Hendrickson Method of manual therapy and has over 15 years experience combining these therapies. She specializes in injury rehabilitation and prevention, combining manual therapy with Pilates based exercises to address chronic pain and acute musculo-skeletal issues at the source.

Growing up in an environment where she was surrounded by the healing arts, she naturally gravitated towards studying yoga, bodywork and nutrition as a teen. Through her own journey with scoliosis and spinal stenosis, she has discovered the benefit of diet, mind/body exercise and bodywork first hand. Pilates was also her saving grace for learning how to strengthen her body and rehabilitate her injuries from dance.

Jenna holds multiple massage and Cranial Sacral Therapy certifications, the most recent being a four year training in Orthopedic Massage through the Hendrickson Method Institute. She received her yoga certification in 2002 in the Anusara method and completed her comprehensive Pilates instructor certificate through Polestar Pilates in 2013. She was also a colon hydrotherapist and nutritional consultant for many years.

Jenna finds joy in helping her clients get out of pain and back to the activities they love doing! It is her belief that her clients can move better and feel better at any age. When not in the studio, Jenna loves anything that involves being outdoors such as gardening, hiking and paddle boarding!

Ayah Buonagurio is local SF Bay Area professional yoga teacher, dancer, thai massage therapist, legally ordained spiritual minister as well as women’s health advocate life-coach in he field of reproductive health.

Ayah was introduced to Yoga by her Mother at the age of 15 and fully utilized her practice to heal after a severe car accident. She has been teaching in California and abroad for over 16 years. Her strongest foundation is in studies with Anusara yoga utuizing bio-mechanical therapeutics. Ayah also draws from her professional background ethnic contemporary dance to emphasize posture, core toning and movements dynamics in class.

She has creatively infused a lifelong path of apprenticing in healing and ceremonial arts into her passion for therapeutic movement and health. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor RYA, and Thai Massage Therapist and is also a Spiritual Minister through the FOI (Fellowship of Isis) as well as of ONACS (Native American Church).

As a Women’s Health Advocate Ayah compassionately and respectfully through the container of women’s rituals educates, supports and advocates women allowing them to feel empowered to make informed decisions concerning their health in alignment with their cyclical natures.

Ayah has been committed to bridging relationships in female communities around the globe. Traveling internationally she has projects in Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Peru and Colombia exchanging skills and sharing sacred dances, water prayers, sharing womb wisdom arts and vitality practices.
