- **Event Description**: Public Safety Training LLC is proud to offer this comprehensive course on Armoring M16, AR15, M4, and AR308 weapon systems. 

Law Enforcement Agencies are increasingly equipping Patrol Officers, Supervisors, and Tactical Units with carbine rifles. This transition necessitates the presence of qualified Armorers or Range Masters to ensure regular maintenance and servicing of these firearms. Our course offers comprehensive training on M16, AR15, M4, and AR308 weapon systems and their variants. Participants will receive certification in the proper maintenance, care, and repair of these systems, including semi-automatic and select-fire trigger mechanisms. 
 
This intensive 10 hour course will encompass a wide range of topics, including:
History of the Weapon
Cycles of Operation
Comprehensive Disassembly and Assembly
Identification of Nomenclature and Components
Inspections, Stress and Interval Issues, Parts Replacement Schedules
Accessories and Upgrades
Cleaning and Maintenance
Timing and Suppressor Issues
Barrel Replacement
Headspace, Firing Pin Protrusion, and Gauging
Piston and Direct Gas Impingement Systems
Ballistic Considerations
Troubleshooting and Repair
Parts Interchangeability
Semi-Automatic, Full-Automatic, and Burst Trigger Systems, including Conversions
All necessary tools, manuals, and equipment will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own weapon systems to become familiar with their specific configurations and modifications. However, if students do not bring their own weapons, they have the option to use one of ours for a fee of $50. This hands-on experience will also facilitate thorough cleaning and inspection, allowing for any necessary parts replacement or repair. Prepare for an immersive and practical learning experience over the course of two days, where you will gain invaluable knowledge and skills.
 
Cost is $295 and the certification is good for 3 years.
