Who can register? Any instructor who has the pre-requisite experience. It is not required that you already be a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) to attend this workshop. However, we strongly suggest you review the Advanced Instructor Criteria to make sure you are ready for the content and expectations of this workshop:

Purchase Advanced TRI application ($125) and student manual download ($90)
2. Submit completed application (either email the application from the handbook to

3. Submit current adult and child CPR and first aid certifications. (email to

4. Complete the online Standards Course and Exam (score valid for one year)(you’ll have access to the online course/exam within 3 business days of purchasing your application)

6. Advanced certification components (you’ll have access to the online video within 3 business days of purchasing your application)
7. Equine assessment and evaluation (you’ll have access to the online video within 3 business days of purchasing your application)
