Calgary with its rocky mountainous range is the perfect city to visit for skiing, hiking and sightseeing. The ten-day Calgary Stamped held in July is a major attraction for the tourist with all the cow-boy style entertainment. Among other city's music and culture festivals are the Circle The Wagons Festival, Opera In The Village, Funnyfest Calgary Comedy Festival, Cochrane Summerfest, Calgary Fringe Festival, Calgary Reggaefest, Globalfest, And Calgary International Film Festival. A rail track called the “Rocky Mountaineer” passes through the mountain wall of the Rockies to Vancouver, Lake Louis, Kicking Horse Pass and Roger Pass is also present in this range. Calgary Zoo and Prehistoric Park founded in 1912 is also worth visiting. In the west of the city present at the foot of the mountains are the rising towers of Calgary Olympic Park where opportunities like snowboarding and skiing are present.
